Sebenza Systems jumped at the chance to be involved in the new Chopped Liver website - www.choppedliver.info - considering the edgy, and sometimes African nature of the content.
The galleries needed updating but it was obvious that the site wasn't taking advantage of the faster external data interaction and better looking text rendering updates offered by Flash 8, a web technology often used in production of creative websites.
We decided to "pop the hood" and dived in, updating the site's loading, navigation and galleries. We think the slick results are well worth the effort but to view it you're going to need the Flash 8 plug-in. If you don't have it yet you'll find it on the Adobe Web Site.
There is a great collection of photographs in the Chopped Liver galleries and after enjoying them you may wish to take in more examples of Sebenza Systems' work, in the portfolio section at www.sebenza-systems.com
About Chopped Liver
Chopped Liver, Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin, are a photographic team based in London.
They're the recipients of numerous awards for their work, including the Vic Odden Achievement award from the Royal Photographic Society. Currently they're working on a commission for Photoworks and their next book CHICAGO, will be published in October 2006 by Steidl.
While teaching regular workshops and master classes in photography, Broomberg and Chanarin continue to work for a number of magazines including The Guardian Weekend and The Observer Magazine. Last year they produced their first film, commissioned by Channel 4.

Recently Sebenza Systems has formed a strategic alliance with a Creative Agency - I Am Human, Video / 3D specialists - Mog Machine and Shoot Experience - home of Shoot Shoreditch and Shoot London. Sebenza Systems and these three small businesses all operate from the same studio space in Shoreditch, under the umbrella of CurtainRoad.Net, and produce work for a wide range of clients within the art, public and corporate sectors.
